CMCC Women ranked #1 in USCAA Div II National Championship Tournament

(YSCC) — The 2018 USCAA Division II Basketball National Championship seedings were announced Monday, and a YSCC sits at the top of one grouping.

The Central Maine Community College Lady Mustangs are ranked #1 entering the 2018 tournament. The Mustangs are the defending USCAA Div II champions.

UMA Moose sit at #3 in the women's bracket.

The Mustangs are set to face #8 ranked Penn State Fayette in the opening round. The Moose will face #6 Villa Maria Vikings.

On the men's side, the NHTI Lynx sit at #4, while the Vermont Tech Knights enter the tournament ranked #9.

# 9 Vermont Tech will face #8 Penn State Wilkes Barre in the play-in game. #4 NHTI will face #5 Penn State Brandywine in the opening round.

The 2019 games take place from February 28 - March 3rd in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
