SMCC's Amanda Brett grabs USCAA Player of the Week. VTCs Jeremiah Shaw grabs YSCC honors

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Amanda Brett | Southern Maine CC | Sophomore | Forward

Amanda Brett of Southern Maine CC is the YSCC Player of the Week and the USCAA Women's Division II Basketball Player of the Week. The sophomore forward played in two games last week. In a narrow five-point win over University of Maine Augusta she was one rebound away from a double-double with 31 points and 9 rebounds. Her second appearance of the week was against Bunker Hill CC where she added 24 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. The Seawolves are currently 16-2 with a six-game winning streak.

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Jeremiah Shaw | Vermont Tech | Sophomore | Guard

Jeremiah led the Knights to 2-1 week on the road. He averaged 20 points and 5.7 rebounds, while being asked to defend the opposing team-leading scorers.
