Huskies Fall in Heartbreaker

Word of Life hosted the Vermont Tech Knights. The Huskies were looking for a bounce-back win after a close loss in their last game against Five Towns College. The Knights started the game off quickly with a 7-0 run, but the Huskies were able to recover to trim the lead to 2 before the end of the first quarter. It was a close game for the majority of the game as the teams went back in forth. MJ Buck led the team in scoring with 19 points and had 4 rebounds and 5 steals. The Huskies found points from just about everybody, but the Knights would find a way late to take the lead and hang on for a 47-44 victory.

The Huskies' next game is Saturday, February 4 against Great Bay Community College at 3 pm at the Huskies Health and Athletic Center.
