South Portland, ME—The Huskies traveled over the weekend to play Great Bay Community College Hurons (NH) and Southern Maine Community College Seawolves (ME).
On Friday night, the Huskies played at the Herons with both teams looking for their first win of the season (Huskies 0-6, Hurons 0-7). The Huskies took control of the game and won each set handily (25-15, 25-11, and 25-17) to earn their first win of the season. On Saturday night, the Huskies played arguably one of their best games of the season in their game against the Seawolves. With each set being close, the Seawolves would end up taking control and ease out all 3 sets with a win for a clean sweep.
The Huskies are now 1-7 and will host Bay Path University on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in the Huskies Health and Athletic Center.
