Auburn, ME - Zach Mann led the CM offense with three hits and three RBI including a triple as the Mustangs defeated NHTI 9-3 on Wednesday night in Auburn. 

Jimmy Reed added two hits in tje eight hit Mustang attack. CM scored eight runs in the bottom of the first inning. Colton Frisbie, Kaleb Thompson and Rolando Rodriguez each added hits. Rodriquez hit was a triple in the 6th inning. Garret Harvey got the win on the mound and Jack Cote recorded the save. Harvey threw six innings giving up two runs and striking out eight. 

Before the game, the Mustangs had to finish a suspended game with NHTI in which the Mustangs won. 

"We scored early and then became complacent," said head coach Ryan Palmer. "That's something we really have to work on before the playoffs. I can't say enough about our pitching. It's been stellar," added Palmer.

The Mustangs are back in action on Monday as they host Northern Essex Community College with a 6pm start
