(Concord, NH) The UMA Moose men's basketball team knew that Sunday, November 5, 2023 was going to be a challenge facing the NHTI Lynx, a conference rival, and unfortunately the outcome left the Moose down 87 - 69. After having 2 early exhibition games canceled, the Moose were faced with taking the court without a preseason match-up. "The first game is always tough," Coach Piscopo said, "then you add in no preseason, on the road, and against a strong conference rival, you know your going in with an uphill battle. I know we didn't get the win, but I could not be more proud of how we came out, and how we finish will only get better."

The Moose were led by Trevor Beals, 23pts, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists, Yonas Medfu, 17pts, 6 rebounds, and Donte Sharp, 13pts. Berk Evduzen led the Moose on the boards with 13 rebounds, and Elijah Smith led assists with 5. 

The Moose look to bounce back quickly when they face off with Thomas College on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 8pm at the Augusta Civic Center.
