MEN'S BASKETBALL PICK UP ROAD WIN AGAINST ADIRONDACK
Queensbury, NY: The Vermont State Randolph men's basketball team traveled to New York Saturday to take on the Timberwolves of SUNY Adirondack. The Knights came out firing on all cylinders jumping out to a 16-6 lead. The Knights controlled the first half, but a 6-0 run by SUNY cut the lead down to four (31-27) going into the half. The Timberwolves used the momentum to take a 4 point lead 47-43 with 10:13 to go in the second half. The Knights respond with 16-4 run to take back control of the game. Solid free throw shooting closed the deal as the Knights earn their first win of the season 66-55.
The Knights were led by Jaylon Calvin with 18 points. Zay Ivey added 16 and went an impressive 8-8 from the charity stripe. Adirondack was led by Tyre Williams with 13 points.

It's always good to get a road win, no matter rough it may have been. I thought my guys competed really hard and we made plays when we had to. We are excited to go home and play in front of our fans.
The Knights are set to host Word of Life on Tuesday at 7:30pm
