Mustangs Struggle to Find Groove

Myrtle Beach, SC - Nothing came easy for Central Maine Community College Mustangs on Wednesday, as they fell 8-1 to North Central Missouri Pirates

The Mustangs fired up the offense in the second inning, when Olivia Scott's sac fly scored one run for Central Maine Community College Mustangs. North Central Missouri Pirates evened things up at one in the bottom of the second inning when Lauren Krohn doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run. North Central Missouri Pirates pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning.

Scott took the loss for Central Maine Community College Mustangs. The hurler went five innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits, striking out four and walking zero.

Sarah Poli, Emily Wormwood, Scott, and Emily Sanfacon all had one hit to lead Central Maine Community College Mustangs. Emily Sanfacon, Paige Ouellette, Alyvia Perreault each had stolen bases for the Mustangs.
