Alex Thompson scored two goals, both in the Machias game. The first was a free kick from well outside the box and the other was an impressive individual effort beating multiple defenders before placing it past the goalkeeper. While team captain Alex Thompson shined offensively this week by scoring his two goals it was his defensive effort that was really impressive. CMCC had three matches this week and allowed just one goal, which was a penalty kick in their 3-1 win against Paul Smith's College. This week the team shut out Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences 1-0 and University of Maine at Machias 2-0.
