Men's basketball fall in conference opener

The Paul Smith's College men's basketball team fell in their first conference game of the season to South Maine Community College by a score of 84-61.

The Bobcat's were led by Sophomore Kenny Smith (Yonkers, NY) and Junior Rahiem Robinson (Hartford, CT). Smith had a team high 17 points off the bench while shooting 8 of 12 from the field, while Robinson contributed 16 points to the Bobcat's effort. David Harris (Tampa, FL) Led the team in rebounds with 9. Overall the team shot 38 percent from the field on the day but would struggle to shoot the three only making two out of 15 attempts.

With the loss the Cat's fall to 2-4 on the season, and 0-1 in conference play. Men's basketballs will travel on Tuesday to SUNY Canton to take on the Kangaroo's who are currently 0-1 on the season.
