SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team pitched its third shutout of the season in a 3-0 victory over the Rams from Unity College at Wainwright Recreation Complex on Saturday, Oct. 20.

This the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) regular season finale for both squads, first-year SMCC goalkeeper Camden Labrecque (Saco, Maine) came up with a penalty kick save in the 20th minute to avoid a deficit.

It wasn't until second half action that the SeaWolves erupted for three goals, all within four minutes. Sophomore Yaroslav Philbrook (Chernigov, Ukraine) connected for his fifth and sixth goals of the season before sophomore Stephen Brady (Rochester, N.H.) stepped up to bury a long free kick to seal SMCC's third win at home.

Labrecque tallied eight saves in as many attempts to improve on his 1.59 goals-against-average.
