SMCC's Sean Adams wins USCAA POTW. NHTIs Winship takes home YSCC Softball POTW

(YSCC) -- Congratulations to the YSCC Spring Players of the Week for Week 2. Additionally, congrats to SMCC's Sean Adams wor taking home this week's USCAA Baseball Player of the Week.

Sean Adams | Southern Maine CC | Senior | 3B/P

Sean Adams of Southern Maine CC is the USCAA and YSCC Baseball Player of the Week. The senior captain helped the Seawolves of SMCC to a 3-1 record last week going 7-14 from the plate with four walks and five extra-base hits. In a doubleheader against Massasoit Community College, he went 3-3 in their first contest with two home runs and four RBI. In the second game of the doubleheader, he had a go-ahead RBI double in a 17-15 victory.

SOFTBALL
Hannah Winship | NHTI | Freshman | INF/OF

Hannah, a freshman infielder/outfielder, was 5 for 11 at the plate with two home runs. She also scored six runs and had nine RBI to her credit. She also stole one base while walking four other times and had one sacrifice fly as one of her RBI.
