NHTI's Biron wins USCCA DII Women's POTW

(YSCC) - The Yankee Small College Conference is proud to announce the athletes of the week awards for Week 4 of the 2019-2020 Winter sports season. 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Michaella Biron | NHTI | G | JR

Michaella Biron filled up the stat sheet for NHTI this week. Biron averaged 31 points on 41% from the field and 44% from behind the arc in the two games. Biron also averaged 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals in the two contests this week. Michaella also takes home this week's USCAA DII Women's Basketball Player of the Week

MEN'S BASKETBALL

Colin Baker | Southern Maine Community College | G/F | SO

Sophomore Colin Baker scored a career-high 27 points in his first start of the season, making seven three-pointers in 11 tries. Baker totaled 10-16 from the floor, ripped five rebounds, and logged three assists in 23 minutes of work in SMCC's convincing win over Unity College on Thursday, Nov. 21.
