The Great Bay Herons win the 2019 YSCC Volleyball Championship

PAUL SMITHS, New York (GBCC) - The 2019 Yankee Small College Conference Volleyball Championships were held at Paul Smith's College in Paul Smith's, New York Saturday.

The first round battles match four very talented YSCC teams. Great Bay went toe to toe with Unity College. This match went all five sets, with the Heron's winning in the fifth 15-11. The host Bobcats dispatched the NHTI Lynx 3 sets to none to set up the championship match with the Great Bay Herons. 

In the championship match, the Herons came our strong winning the first two sets. The Bobcats fought back taking the the third set 25-13. The Herons fought off the hard charging Bobcats to win the 2019 YSCC Volleyball Championship.
