Bobcats Celebrate Senior Night with Victory

Paul Smiths, NY ~  The Paul Smith's College women's basketball team celebrated its graduating players on Saturday with a dominant 76-38 win as they doubled up Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) on Senior Day.

Jordan Louis (Crystal, NM) and Holly Bagley (Bloomfield, NY) were honored in a pregame ceremony detailing their contributions to the program over the past four years.  Bagley has contributed 822 points in her career as a Bobcat, while Louis joined the 1,000-point club earlier this season and currently sits at 1,073 total points.

The two seniors showed how important they are to the program as they were the top two point scorers on Saturday.  Louis led all players with 19 points while Bagley tallied 15 points and added eight assists.

First year player DaVyne Johnson (Phoenix, AZ) also hit double digits with 13 points while Jillian York (Largo, FL) dominated the paint with an impressive 18 boards and six assists.

The Bobcats played with energy and determination, sending their seniors off in style with a well-rounded team performance.  Bagley and Louis leave behind a legacy of leadership, resilience, and excellence that has built up the program to be nationally-ranked as they finish their careers at Paul Smith's College.

The Bobcats are 11-8 and close out the regular season this week before gearing up for the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) playoffs.
