Auburn, ME - The Mustangs scored 14 runs and had 11 hits in the fourth inning in route to a convincing win against NHTI at Central Maine Community College on Tuesday night. 

Jimmy Reed, Stefan Lesco, Caden Truman, Corey Armstrong, Caleb Valliere, Reid Cote and Will Bean all had multiple hits for the Mustangs. Reed, Lesco, Valliere, Cody and Bean also had multiple RBIs. Jake Arel added a double. Valliere pitched 4.2 innings before giving way to Trinidade. Valliere gave up three runs on three hits while striking out nine. 

"The bats came alive in the fourth inning and that was a thing of beauty" said Mustangs coach Ryan Palmer. "It took coach Turenne to challenge the boys to get the bats going and it worked. Once again we got good pitching and that was nice to see."

The Mustangs have now won 7 of their last 8. The team is back in action when they host Quincy College on Monday April 18th for a doubleheader beginning at 12:00
