Bobcats’ Strong Second Half Falls Short Against Clarkson
Paul Smiths, NY ~ The Paul Smith's College women's basketball team fought valiantly but dropped a competitive matchup at home against NCAA Division III Clarkson University on Monday night. Despite a slow start, the Bobcats roared back in the second half, narrowing the gap with determined play. However, the comeback effort fell just short as the Golden Knights were able to hold off the home squad in the Saunders Gym by a final score of 70-59.
Leading the charge was Jordan Louis (Crystal, NM), who delivered a stellar performance with 21 points, five steals, and five assists, providing a spark on both ends of the court. Holly Bagley (Bloomfield, NY) added 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals, continuing her strong play this season.
DaVyne Johnson (Phoenix, AZ) was a sharpshooting force, hitting four three-pointers as part of her 14-point effort, while also contributing three assists and two steals. Finnley Jacobson (Vergennes, VT) rounded out the Bobcats' attack with seven points, four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
