PAUL SMITH'S, New York – The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team faced its second conference loss of the season, 91-64, at Paul Smith's College (PSC) on Saturday, Nov. 23.

The Bobcats started fast, getting ahead by a 9-point margin after one quarter of action. The Seawolves began to find success in the second, outscoring their opponent by four points and cutting their deficit to five, 39-34, going into halftime. PSC answered with a productive 34-point third quarter, building a lead that proved to be insurmountable for SMCC.

The Seawolves were led by freshman Ashley Mullen (Oakland, Maine) who flushed 4-7 from three and grabbed 11 boards. Sophomore captain Halle Tripp (Searsmont, Maine), and first-years Milo Seams (South Paris, Maine), and Taylor Renna (Pembroke, N.H.) each contributed 11 points.

Bobcat guard Holly Bagley recorded a double-double, scoring 27 points to go along with 10 steals. Jordan Louis added 15 points and six assists.

The Seawolves slip to 3-4 overall, 2-2 in YSCC action. Paul Smith's improves to 2-3, 2-0 in conference play.
