In a thrilling matchup, the UMA Moose Women's Basketball team delivered the Central Maine Community College Mustangs there first loss of the season with a final score of 87-81. The game showcased a strong performance from both teams, needing OT to declare a winner.

Player Highlights:

Sage Fortin led the way for UMA, scoring 23 points with a solid shooting performance, including three 3-pointers. She also added eight assists, demonstrating her ability to facilitate plays throughout the game.

Alisyn Alley made a significant impact, especially at the free-throw line, where she went 10-for-11. She finished with 22 points, five rebounds, and seven assists, showcasing her all-around game.

Lillian Cox and Emma Boulanger also had notable contributions, scoring 12 and 13 points respectively, while combining for 13 rebounds and 4 assists.

UMA shot 47.5% from the field and an impressive 74.3% from the free-throw line, which proved crucial in the final minutes.

On the other side, the Mustangs shot 34.1% from the field and 21.9% from beyond the arc. Ella Lavigne was a standout for Central Maine, scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, while Rosa Prieto added 16 points, hitting four three-pointers. However, despite their efforts, the Mustangs fell behind late in OT suffering their first loss of the season.
