Albany, NY-- The Huskies traveled down to play the Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Panthers Tuesday night. The Panthers started the scoring quickly, taking a 1-0 lead less than 1 minute into the game. The Huskies would respond with a goal from Calem Mason on a pass from David Singer to level the game at 1-1. The Panthers quickly responded in just 10 seconds to take a 2-1 lead. Calem Mason had other ideas scoring a tremendous goal on a free kick in the 29th minute to level the game 2-2. In the 35th minute, the David Singer and Calem Mason connection worked to perfection again as Mason scored his 3rd goal of the night to give the Huskies a 3-2 lead. In the 2nd half, amazing goalkeeping from Seth Randall and Panthers' keeper Ryan Herrick to keep it a 3-2 score by the final whistle. The Huskies snap a 3-game winless streak and improve to 4-2-1 on the 2023 campaign.
The Huskies will host Penn State-Scranton on Saturday, October 7 at 4 p.m. as part of Homecoming Weekend.
