Herons Look Strong Early but drop two games to NHTI
After a strong offensive and defensive start in both games, the Great Bay Herons could not hold on to the lead. The Herons led, 4-1 entering the fifth inning in the first game and 6-3 entering the 5th inning in the second game but eventually fell in both games.

Christian Dow got the Herons off to a good start on the mound in the first game,  He was relieved by Jeff Biron who closed out the finally inning, holding the Lynx scoreless setting the Herons up to potentially stage a late game rally.  The Herons couldn't get their bats going in the final inning to complete the comeback.

Aaron Pomeroy gave the Herons 4 solid innings on the mound in the second game.  Offensively, the Herons looked great early in the second game. Bryce Smith homered in the first inning and Mitchell Bechard hit a solo homerun in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend the Herons lead.
