YSCC Players of the Week

(YSCC) - Yankee Small College Conference is proud to announce this week's Softball and Baseball Players of the week. Here is the list of winners for the first two weeks of the season. 

SOFTBALL

Olivia Scott | Central Maine CC | FY | P

Since coming off an injury, Olivia Scott pitched her best outing of the season; she pitched four innings allowing two hits, and four strikeouts while walking two batters and not allowing a run to cross the plate. Scott also hit .500 during the games this past week. 

BASEBALL

Joseph Townsend | Southern Maine CC | FY | IF

First-year infielder Joseph Townsend collected four hits and a walk in nine plate appearances in SMCC's doubleheader sweep at Penn State Brandywine on Friday, Mar. 18. Townsend recorded two extra-base hits and five RBI; on the mound, he notched four strikeouts over two scoreless innings.
