Auburn, ME - The UMaine Augusta Moose led start to finish, defeating CM for the second time this year, 75-58. This marks the first time since the 2015-16 season in which the Mustangs have lost to the same opponent more than once in a single season.
Being out-rebounded for only the second time this season and dismal shooting was too much for the Mustangs to overcome.
Sarah Poli scored 10 point off the bench while also pulling down 6 rebounds. Safena Te Nana-Williams was the lone started in double-figures for the Mustangs, hitting for 11 points, including 8-8 from the foul line.
Madeline Suhr scored a game-high 24 points for the Moose.
With the loss, CM drops to 18-3 overall and 7-2 in the Yankee Conference. They will be back in action on Saturday, when they travel to Concord, NH to take on NHTI at 11:30am.
