Mustangs Lose third in a Row

Warwick, RI – A tired bunch of Mustangs limped back to Auburn Saturday night from a 79-59 thumping at the hands of the Knights of CCRI.  Playing their third game in four days was simply to much for CM.  "We have a young team with only three returning players" said Coach Dave Gonyea. "This is our second go round with three to four games in as many days.  Our kids are not used to the intensity- and add in all road games, and I understand our situation.  We will regroup and get better."

Not a lot of good signs for the Mustangs in the game.  Corey David followed up a 30 point plus performance with another good shooting night notching 20 points.

"At the end of the day, it's a 30-game season," says Gonyea. "We don't panic but I will admit losing three in a row is unlike CM.  This will add a bit more excitement and pressure to our next home game with NHTI next Thursday.  I am sure the kids and our faithful will be up and ready for the game."
