Shea Carries SeaWolves Past Bobcats

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) Men's Soccer team defeated the Bobcats from Paul Smith's College (PSC) 4-2 in a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) contest on Saturday, Oct. 2.

In front of those that gathered for Alumni, Friends and Family day, sophomore forward Eriksen Shea (Freeport, Maine) caught fire in the first half scoring two goals ahead of the 14-minute mark and another before time expired in the first half—to give the home team a 3-2 advantage.

Shea doubled the SMCC lead at 53:26 with his fourth score of the day.

Sophomore goalkeeper Joshua Nagle (Biddeford, Maine) recorded seven saves to push the SeaWolves to 4-6-1 overall, 3-1 in conference play. The Bobcats sit 2-6 overall, 1-3 YSCC.
