BOBCATS MISSES MAJOR COMEBACK BY JUST 3 POINTS
ALBANY, NEW YORK - At their home-opener vs Central Maine Mustangs, the Lady Bobcats barely missed a winning comeback after a deficit of 20 points at the half. The Mustangs came into the competition with an 8-1 overall record and the Bobcats were looking to get a win after a couple of on the road losses. Central Maine with their deep bench and fresh legs prevailed in a nail-biter second half. The Final Score of 78-75 moves the Bobcats to a 2-5 overall record.
The Bobcats had a late comeback but that didn't stop Saige Roberts from her explosive baskets on all points of the floor from the moment she set foot on the court with the game high of 32 points. Anayla Harper got her groove on in the second half and finished with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Hasjiina Gaddy, with a tremendous performance contributed 15 points.
The Lady Bobcats play SUNY Cobleskill on December 18, 2021 on the road.
