The Herons opened their Women's Basketball seaon against Central Maine Community College.  The team played hard but could not keep up the talented and deep team from Central Maine.  

The Herons were led by Sydney McCarthy, (8 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist) and Madison Lovely (5 pts, 11 rebs, 2 steals, 2 blocks).  Defensively, the Molly Frost, Gianna Portelli and Jocelyn Miller played well.  The Herons will be back in action next weekend as they travel to Albany to face the Panthers from Albany College of Pharmacy.
