Auburn, ME - Kenyon Pillsbury's RBI double in the bottom of the 6th broke a 6-6 tie and scored Jimmy Reed to lead theMustangs to a huge win tonight in Auburn. Despite the chily evening, the Mustang bats were alive and ready for the rematch with the Noreaster's.   

Pillsbury ended the night going 3-4 with a double, three runs scored and two RBI. Hayden Tremblay also had two hits and two RBI for the Mustangs. 

Hunter Warren, Rolando Rodriguez and Rhen Trinidade shared the pitching duties with Trinidade picking up the win in relief. 

The Mustangs improve to 11-4 overall and 5-1 in the NECBA. They continue NEBCA play on Saturday at noon with a doubleheader against UMass-Boston in Auburn. 

"Tonight was a very good win for us" said CM coach Ryan Palmer "After such an emotional win against SM on Monday, i feared a let down in tonights game. The guys didnt let that happen" 

The squad is back in action Saturday facing NECBA foe UMass Boston at 12pm and 2pm.
