Strong Seconds Half Not Enough As Men's Basketball Falls At NHTI

Concord, NH - It was a tail of two halves for the UMA Men's Basketball team on Saturday November 13th. UMA was strailing by 6 points with 7:13 reamining in the first half when the Lynx finished out the half on a 22-9 run. A run which saw the Moose committ the same number of turnovers (3) as made field goals (3). In the second half the Moose came out strong and shot a robust 54.5% from the field and 43.8% from beyond the arc. A second half which saw the Moose outscore their opponents 45-41. Nate Henderson (Miami, FL) led the second half attack converting on 4 of 5 field goal attempts for 9 second half points. UMA's scoring was led by Elijah Smith (Odessa, TX) who finished 5 for 8 from the floor and 11 points to go along with his three rebounds. Trevor Beals (Lyman, ME) led the Moose in assists with three and was tied with Willie Foreman (Memphis, TN) with three rebounds. 

 

The Moose will be back in action tomorrow afternoon as they head to Nasua, NH to battle it out against NCAA opponent Rivier.
