Auburn, ME - The Mustangs came up a little short on Monday night falling to SMCC 8-3. Jimmy Reed, Cole Brown and Hunter Warren were the brights spots for the Mustangs, all three with hits and runs scored. Warren relieved Caleb Valliere on the mound in the 5th only allowing one run and striking out five. 

Coach Palmer said "Mondays game was a reality check for our guys. Monday showed what level they need to play at to really be successful. You cant strikeout 13 times and our pitchers walk 10 batters and expect to win games.  This will be a work in progress."

CM host NHTI on Friday with a doubleheader starting at 3:00pm and the second game 30 minutes following game one.
