Men’s Soccer Suffers Shutout at Bristol CC

FALL RIVER, Mass.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 defeat by the Bayhawks from Bristol Community College in non-conference action at Britland Park on Monday, Oct. 11.

Conceding on a penalty kick in the first half, the SeaWolves were held scoreless for just the fourth time this season. The result in the season finale leaves SMCC 5-7-2 on the season; Bristol gets to 6-5 overall.

YSCC Playoffs

#3 SMCC will host #6 Vermont Technical College in a Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) play-in game scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16. Kickoff at Wainwright Recreation Complex is 1 p.m. LIVE STATS.

The winner will punch their ticket to the Final Four in Concord, N.H. the following weekend.
