Auburn, ME - The CM Mustangs split a doubleheader with CCRI on Friday afternoon. 

In game one, defense let the Mustangs down committing four errors that led to five runs. The Mustangs dropped game one 14-7. Corey Armstrong led the offense with a double and three RBIs. Will Bean had two hits and two runs scored. Rhen Trinidade, Cole Brown, Shane Sullivan and Peter McCluskey shared the pitching duties. 

In game two, the Mustangs regrouped and defeated the Knights 12-9. Stefan Lesco led the offense going 3-3 with two RBI. Will Bean added two hits including a homerun. Wyatt Lufkin picked up the win in relief going the last 1.1 innings. 

"Game one, the defense led us down big time," said head coach Palmer. "I'm proud of the way we regrouped in game two and came away with a split." 

The Mustangs host SNHU today in a doubleheader with game one starting at 12:00
