Paul Smith's Women's Soccer make first ever National Championship Appearance
(PSC) – The Paul Smith's Women's Soccer team is one game away from a perfect season. Heading into the United States Colligete Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championship undefeated 11-0-1 Paul Smith's Women's Soccer has recorded 47 goals against opponents, 7 shutouts, and only 8 goals against. 
 
The road to the National Championship has been a well fought & earned battle for the Bobcats. Paul Smith's College beat NHTI in the YSCC Conference semi-finals in a 5-0 victory. They went on to win the Conference Championship 1-0 over the previously top seeded Albany College of Pharmacy. As the automatic qualifier Paul Smith's College earned its first ever #1 seed heading into the USCAA Small College National Championships. Hosted in Virginia Beach the Bobcats look to capture their first ever national title. 
 
Entering the pool play for the National Tournament the 5th seeded Johnson & Wales fell to Paul Smith's College 2-1. The Wildcats scored a quick goal from Aubrey Anderson to put her team ahead 1-0. The Bobcats answered back with 2 goals in the later parts of the first half from Samantha Severing & Ruth Marscham to take the win. Paul Smith's outshot Johnson and Wales 14-11.

The Bobcats turned around the next day to take on the #4 seeded Penn State Mont Alto. Top-ranked Paul Smith's College outshot Mont Alto 20-7 but were forced into double overtime as Jesime Freet made 6 saves. The Bobcats were victorious in penalty kicks as Kate Roefs, Hayleigh Gates, and Haven Bradt sank their shots into the back of the net. The game winning save came from goalkeeper Anna Thrasher to send the Bobcats into their first ever National Championship Game.
