NHTI Men and Hampshire College Women Win YSCC Cross Country Championships
Concord, NH (NHTI) – The NHTI Men's Cross Country Team and the Hampshire College Women's Cross Country Team each captured Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Cross Country Championships at NHTI on Saturday.
On the men's side the Lynx finished first with a score of 27. Ethan Dessaint led NHTI finishing in second place with a time of 30:06. Garrison Hiltz was next finishing in fourth with a time of 30:37. Jordin Stone (6), Silas Frary (7) and Connor Safstrom (8) were the other scorers for NHTI. Tyler Dunham from Vermont Tech was the first place finisher running the 8K in a time of 29:28.
For the women, Hampshire College was victorious with a score of 26. Ash Lamoreaux led the Frogs finishing in second place with a time of 25:15. Sophia Mueller finished right behind Lamoreaux in third place with a time of 25:38. Gwyn Burns (5), Potter Kemp (6) and Kat Rodde (10) were the other scorers for Hampshire College. Cassidy Lewis from Vermont Tech was the first place finisher running the 6K in 25:15.
