Mustangs on to women's championship game with 73-49 win over NHTI

AUBURN, Maine (YSCC) -- The Lady Mustangs of Central Maine Community College move on to the YSCC championship game after taking down the NHTI Lynx 73-49.

The Mustangs used their usual up-tempo style to put pressure on the Lynx the entire game.

YSCC Second Team All-Conference player Alex Bessey led CMCC with 15 points and six rebounds. YSCC First Team All-Conference player Brooke Reynolds finished with 10 points and 17 rebounds.

NHTI was led by Mary Grzanna with 14 points and eight rebounds. Melissa Martel finished with 11 points and six rebounds.

CMCC will face Southern Maine Community College on Sunday in the YSCC Championship game at noon.
