YSCC Announces Players of the Week

Your YSCC Players of the Week are:

Adrienne Dorr, collected a hat trick and notched an assist, in her first career game. She also earned USCAA POTW honors.

Nick Grover, scored both goals in the game against UMA (2-2 tie) and has 6 goals in the first 3 games of the season. Nick is a hardworking forward who not only capitalizes on opportunities but creates opportunities for himself and his teammates.

Angelina Leonard, severed 25 straight points to shut out Great Bay in set 3. This is the first time in CMCC history that this has been accomplished. She ended the match with 21 total aces which is a program record. 15 of those total aces came in the final set shootout, also a program record.

Michael Dean, this was his debut in the 8k. He led the Panthers by being the first finisher for the team placing 33rd overall in a tough field at the Stephen A. Warden Invitational hosted by SUNY Cobleskill.

Amy Stults-Stanek, placed 4th in the Ron Ouelette invitational made up entirely of Division III institutions with the exception of YCCC. Amy finished with a time of 22.52.7 short of the leader by 1.06 minutes.

David Kearns, shot a 37 on 9 holes at the NHTI Invitational which was 1 over par for the 9 holes in which the YSCC match was played on Saturday 9/9. Coach, Doc Merrill immediately named David a captain because he is a very responsible student-athlete and a great role model to teammates and opponents. David had a great week this past weekend finishing t-2nd place at the NHTI Fall Invitational.

Congratulations to these athletes on their hard work and dedication.
