YSCC Announces 2023 Baseball All-Conference Honors
(YSCC) – The Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) announced its regular season award winners for the 2023 baseball season. Awards include Coach of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, Player of the Year, and the Yankee Small College All-Conference team.

Coach of the Year: Nic Lops, Southern Maine CC Seawolves
Nic Lops of Southern Maine takes home the YSCC Baseball Coach of the Year honor. He coached the Seawolves to an impressive 8-1 conference record. Lops squad hit an impressive .300 on the year with a .423 on-base percentage.
Pitcher of the Year: Liam Jann, Southern Maine CC Seawolves
Liam Jann takes home the Yankee Small College Conference Pitcher of the Year honor. Jann led the YSCC in ERA with an impressive 2.59 and finished tied for the lead in wins with five. Liam also earned himself a spot on the all-conference squad.
Player of the Year: Justin Colon, Southern Maine CC Seawolves
Justin Colon takes home your 2023 Yankee Small College Conference Player of the Year. Justin was dominant at the plate this season, batting .360 with three home runs, 37 runs batted in and 12 stolen bases. Justin also earned himself a spot on the all-conference squad.
All-Conference: Jimmy Reed, Central Maine CC Mustangs
Jimmy Reed had an impressive season, earning himself a spot on the YSCC All-Conference team. Reed batted .376 at the dish and finished tied for the YSCC lead in stolen bases with 19.
All-Conference: Josh MacDonald, New Hampshire Tech Lynx
Josh MacDonald hit .333 with 12 runs batted in on the season to earn himself Yankee Small College All-Conference honors.
All-Conference: Ryan Thurber, Southern Maine CC Seawolves
Ryan Thurber tallied an impressive 28 runs batted in on the season while batting .279 in route to his YSCC All-Conference selection.
All-Conference: Zach Mann, Central Maine CC Mustangs
Zach Mann finished second in the YSCC for hits with 39 while hitting for an excellent .322 average. Mann also collected 11 stolen bases, the third most in the conference.
All-Conference: Alexander Noel, Great Bay CC Herons
Alexander Noel earned his way onto the Yankee Small College All-Conference team thanks to his pitching and his impressive hitting. He led the YSCC in average, hitting .409 and had an on-base percentage of .552.
All-Conference: Dylan Sellinger, Southern Maine CC Seawolves
Dylan Sellinger of SMCC hit .395 on the season with 30 runs batted in, en route to earning himself a YSCC All-Conference selection.
All-Conference: Kyle Slate, New Hampshire Tech Lynx
Kyle Slate rounds out your YSCC Baseball All-Conference Team as he had a .382 on-base percentage and scored 19 times for the Lynx.
