NHTI Men's Basketball Run Past Paul Smith's

CONCORD, N.H. – The NHTI men's Basketball team topped Paul Smith's College 90-73 in Yankee Small College Conference action Saturday. The Lynx have reeled off eight wins in a row (9-1) and are unbeaten in YSCC play (8-0).

NHTI jumped out to an 18-7 run to start the first half and did not relinquish the lead. PSC was held to 18 point at the half, down 46-18. The Bobcats crawled back in the second out-scoring the Lynx 55-44 in the final frame.

Lynx sophomore J'Quay Thurmond (Monitcello, Ga.) scored a game high 23 points and added six boards. Freshman Aubrey Stephens (Portland Ore.) tallied 16 points with four helpers and four rebounds.

Paul Smith's was led by freshman Shane Stone (Willow Grove, Pa.) with 22 points and 10 rebounds. The Bobcats fall to 2-8 overall and 1-4 in conference.

Both teams are in action Sunday, December 3 as NHTI hosts Word of Life at 10:15 and Paul Smith's plays Ben Franklin Institute of Technology at NHTI. Tip-off at 12:15.
