NHTI men will play for YSCC Championship on home court

CONCORD, NH (YSCC) — For the second year in a row, a men's team will play for the YSCC Elite 8 Championship on home court.

The NHTI Lynx took down the SMCC Seawolves 93 - 69 to advance to the championship game on Sunday.

After leading at the half by just 5 points, the Lynx clamped down the defense mid-second half, and never looked back.

Jaevan Dobbins (Bethlehem, PA) led the Lynx with 18 points off-the-bench. Aubrey Stephens (Portland, OR) added 14 points. YSCC Player of the Year J'Quavious Thurmond (Monticello, GA) finished with 12 points and six rebounds.

The Seawolves were led by Ryan Cloutier (Pelham, NH) with 20 and Gregory Trinidad (Lawrence, MA) with 15.

The Lynx will play for the YSCC Men's Elite 8 Championship on home court at 2P Sunday.
