NHTI Men’s Basketball Moves Into YSCC Final Four with 120-89 Victory Over UMaine Augusta

CONCORD, NH (NHTI) - The NHTI Men's Basketball secured a trip to the Yankee Small College Conference Final Four next weekend after defeating UMaine Augusta by a 120-89 final. 

The Lynx led the whole way jumping to a 12-0 lead and carrying the momentum for a thirty-one point victory. 

J'Quavious Thurmond (Monticello, GA) led the way registering a triple-double with 12 points (6-11 FG), 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. Nassir Coleman (Philadelphia, PA) recorded a team-high 18 points (8-11 FG) while also grabbing 12 rebounds. Sean Riley (Washington, DC) contributed 10 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3-FG, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, and four assists, while  Dante Cingire (Fairfield, IA) added 15 points (4-11 FG, 4-10 3-FG, 3-4 FT). 

NHTI will now face off against Central Maine CC next Saturday in the YSCC Final Four at Southern Maine CC.
