NHTI to host YSCC Soccer Championships
CONCORD, N.H. – NHTI to host the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) men’s and women’s final four and conference championship this weekend. The Lynx are represented in both fields.
The Women are looking to repeat as champions and return to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association’s (USCAA) national tournament in Virginia Beach. The women are unbeaten(12-0-1) heading into this weekend as the top seed and are led by freshman Maura Hart (Fitzwilliam, N.H.) who leads the YSCC in goals (19), assists (8) and points (48). NHTI will take on the fourth seed Southern Maine Community College at 11:00 a.m. Saturday.
The men are 7-6-1 overall and are the two seed with a 5-3 conference record. The men are led by junior Jeremy Caruso (Pembroke, N.H.) with eight goals and seven assists. The Lynx will host UMaine Machias Saturday at 1:15 p.m.
