SMCC Wins YSCC Title

SMCC Wins YSCC Tournament Softball Title 

CONCORD, N.H. — NHTI, Concord’s Community College was the host site for the YSCC Women’s Softball Final Four Championship Tournament. In the first game of the day, number two seeded NHTI fell to number three Central Maine Community College 10-1 in five innings, the second game featured number one Southern Maine Community College topping Vermont Tech 14-2 in five innings, and in the championship game Southern Maine Community College defeated Central Maine Community College 5-3 to win the YSCC Softball Title.

Candace Hall from CMCC was named the tournament’s Outstanding Defensive Player, Jamie Moody of SMCC was named the Outstanding Offensive Player, and Ashley Pulk of SMCC was named the MVP.
