NHTI defeats PSU Hazleton 8-3 in USCAA tourney

Akron, Ohio: NHTI defeated PSU Hazleton 8-3 behind a 13 hit performance to advance to play again on Wednesday in the double elimination USCAA national softball championships.

 USCAA All-AMerican Masha Lange (Plaistow) led the way with a 4-4 performance with 2 runs scored and 2 rbi's including a double and triple. Teammates Kate Andritz (Stark) and Lindsay Hampson (Manchester) had 2 hits and 3 hits respectively to help the Lynx advance. 

Hampson and Tori Lemay (Manchester) combined to spread out 7 hits in the victory striking out 8 PSU Hazleton Batters.

Coach Kerry Finnigan's Lynx (24-3) will play on Wednesday at 2 PM versus Berea College (Kentucky).
