SMCC Softball Returns Home 2-6 From Spring Training

TITUSVILLE, FL.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) softball team dropped its final two games of its eight-game stint at Cocoa Beach Spring Training on Friday, Mar. 16, defeated 7-0 by the College of DuPage (Ill.) and 8-0 to Iowa Central Community College.

Commenting on the team's successes in Florida, Head Coach Ray Magnant said, "Although we would have liked to take home a couple more wins, this trip was an opportunity to expose our women to some very talented ball clubs. Our stay in Titusville was a bonding experience and we are ready and confident to take on the remainder of the spring!"te
