AUBURN, Maine (CMCC) -- It took over 2-minutes for CM to score their first basket, but once they did the flood gates opened. Rushing out to a 28-12 first quarter lead, the Mustangs never looked back, routing UMaine-Presque Isle 81-29.
Jordyn Reynolds led the way with her 2nd straight double-double, this time with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Alex Bessey also hit for 12 points while collecting 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.
In all, CM dished out 23 assists and swiped 23 steals, while shooting 40% from beyond the arc as a team.
With the win the Lady Mustangs improve to 8-1 overall. They will be back in action on Tuesday, November 21st when they travel to UMaine-Machias for a YSCC matchup.
