CONCORD, N.H. – The NHTI women's basketball team held off the Albany College of Pharmacy and health Science, 69-58 in a non-conference game Sunday afternoon. The Lynx improve to 8-3 heading into the holiday break.
Senior Riselly Deoleo (Manchester, N.H.) capped the game by scoring her 1,000 point in a NHTI uniform by hitting a pair of free throws. Deoleo finished with a game high 25 points and added 10 rebounds, five points and four assists.
The Lynx led 32-27 at the half and did not relinquish the lead in the second half. Holding the Panthers off for the win.
Freshman Michaela Biron (Colebrook, N.H.) chipped in 13 points and sophomore Melissa Martel (Derry, N.H.) added nine for the Lynx.
NHTI hosts Massasoit Saturday, January 6th at noon in the Holiday Inn New Year's Festival.
