Lady Wolves Stay Perfect, Earn Road Win In Albany

ALBANY, N.Y.—The Southern Maine Community College (SMCC) women's basketball team routed the Panthers of Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences 72-28 in a non-conference tilt on Saturday, November 10.

SMCC held a commanding 21-5 lead after the first before limiting Albany to single-digit point totals in each of the first three quarters. The SeaWolves posted 20-point quarters in the first and third to combine for 43 points on their way to their biggest win of the season.

Junior Nyakuoth Mach (Des Moines, Iowa) led all scorers in the game with 15, adding three assists and three steals. Sophomore Amanda Brett (Portland, Maine) dropped nine points and first-year Kaitlyn Feltis (Newcastle, Maine) secured the front court with nine rebounds.

The SeaWolf bench contributed 32 points led by sophomore Lauryn Fagan's (Standish, Maine) eight points and first-year Bailey Cloutier's (Vassalboro, Maine) five offensive rebounds.

Albany's Ava Misner led her team with nine points and four steals in 39 minutes of action.
