NHTI Woman's Fall to Hudson Valley, 90-80

CONCORD, N.H. – The NHTI women's basketball fell short against Hudson Valley Community College, 90-80 Saturday afternoon. The Lynx jumped out to a 20 point lead early in the second period before the Vikings started the comeback. Senior Melissa Martel and freshman Brooklyn Zanis combined for 10 three pointers eight in the first half. Martel led all scorers with 29 points an 13 rebounds. Zanis finished with 17 points.

Hudson Valley came pout shooting in the third period scoring 22 points and holding the Lynx to nine. The Vikings claimed the lead with 2:37 remaining with a three pointer from Hannah Kreiger. Kereiger scored 18 on the afternoon. 

The Lynx fall to 6-5 on the season. NHTI will host Springfield Tech Community College Sunday at noon.
