Women's All-Conference Team Announced

CONCORD, N.H. - The 2015 Yankee Small College Conference Women's Soccer All-Conference Team was announced at the conclusion of the YSCC Championship Tournament hosted by NHTI. Freshman Kym Hendrix of Southern Maine Community College took home Player of the Year honors for the East Division, while NHTI's Shannon Hart earned Player of the Year in the West Division. 

SMCC won the tournament on penalty kicks over Maine Machias.

Jen Norton of Vermont Tech was named West Division Coach of the Year, while Julia Cyr from SMCC earned the honors on the East Division after leading her team to the best record and first national championship appearance in team history. 

Joining Hendrix on the East Division All Conference team are Brooklynne Lewis and Kirsten Zufelt from Maine-Machias, teammate Zyrah Giustra from SMCC, and Mariza Gionfriddo and Ashia Pryor, both from Unity. 

Joining Hart on the West Division All Conference team are teammate Stefani Gauthier, Natalie Strohm of Hampshire, Gwenn Kearns from Vermont Tech, and Nicole Landry and Sarah Dowling, each from Paul Smith's. 

Sportsmanship honors went to the University of Maine Machias on the East side, while Hampshire and Vermont Tech shared the award on the West side.
