NHTI Women’s Soccer Shuts out Unity
CONCORD, NH – The NHTI women's soccer team shutout Unity College, 2-0 in a Yankee Small College Conference season opener. The Lynx scored their first goal of the season of a shot from freshman Maura Hart (Fitzwilliam, N.H.) in the 43rd minute of the game.Danielle Ross (Hudson, N.H.) added an insurance goal in the 73rd minute to cap the scoring.
The Lynx outshot Unity 19-4 and spent most of the day on the offensive side of the field.
Goalkeeper Piper Cote (Concord, N.H.) only need to make one save to ensure a shutout.
NHTI will head to the College of Saint Joseph's (Vt.) Thursday (Sept. 7) at 4:15 p.m.
